Well, that was unexpected.
In the first semi-final of the 2014 World Cup the hosts, Brazil, were taking on Germany.
They tried and failed. Miserably.
Germany beat the home team 7-1. Yes, SEVEN goals to one.
The icing on the cake was Miroslav Klose scoring his 16th World Cup goal, besting Brazilian Ronaldo’s record of 15. And Germany scoring the most goals in a World Cup ever, besting the previous record holders Brazil.
Of course, this victory won’t stand for nothing for Germany if they now don’t go on and win the final against either Argentina or The Netherlands.
